Treats:

Treats and accessories are ordered and paid for separately from raw & frozen products. Due to refridgerated logistics raw & frozen products can not be added to same orders with dry products.

Delivery time is 1-3 working days.

We deliver our treats via Posti.

Posti'’s delivery options

Retrieval from Smartpost 4,90 €

  • Should the order be too large for the Smartpost storage, the delivery will be transferred to the nearest Posti retrieval location.
    The largest allowed size is 60 cm x 36 cm x 60 cm, the largest allowed weight is 35 kg.
  • Orders exceeding 60 €€ in worth are delivered without a delivery fee (in Finland).
  • Delivery time is 1-–3 working days.

Retrieval from your local Posti or from Posti Retrieval Point 4,90 €

  • Retrieve your order from Posti Retrieval Point of your choice. You will receive a text message when your delivery is ready to be retrieved. Check out your nearest retrieval point.
  • Orders exceeding 60 €€ in worth are delivered without a delivery fee (in Finland).
  • Delivery time is 1-–3 working days.

Posti home delivery 7,90 €

  • Posti will arrange the time of delivery with you.
  • Posti home delivery packets’ distribution time changes by postal code. Check out Posti’s distribution times with Posti’'s distribution time inquiry.
  • Orders exceeding 60 €€ in worth are delivered without a delivery fee (in Finland).

Orders made between Mon-Thu and before 3pm with Posti distribution are delivered even for the next working day inside Finland.

All Posti'’s deliveries are made ecologically.

We deliver the raw & frozen products via DBSchenker’'s refridgerated deliveries all the way to your doorstep.

DBSchenker’'s delivery methods:

Home delivery

  • DBSchenker will arrange a suitable time of delivery with the customer.
  • DBSchenker’'s home deliveries’ distribution time changes by postal code.
  • Minimal worth of an order is 350 €.
  • Deliveries are carriage paid.
  • Home deliveries are always delivered to your doorstep by refridgerated delivery.
  • Delivery time is 5-7 working days.

  • We deliver our products inside Finland. The delivery costs are added to the total expenses by the delivery method chosen.
  • Products in storage are strived to be delivered within 1-7 working days. Should there be a delay in the delivery, Lemmikkiruuat Tessu Oy will make contact to the customer without delay.
  • Lemmikkiruuat Tessu Oy’'s webstore'’s consumer-customers have a right to cancel their order within fourteen (14) days after receiving the product(s), except for raw & frozen product(s) and food packages which have been opened. Lemmikkiruuat Tessu Oy is responsible for the returning fees. After receiving the returned product(s) Lemmikkiruuat Tessu Oy returns the amount the customer paid for the product(s), including delivery costs.
  • The customer has a responsibility to take care of the product(s) until the customer has decided to keep the product(s). If the worth of the product(s) has been deprecated upon returning the product(s), Lemmikkiruuat Tessu has a right to charge a compensation for the deprecation of the product(s) up until the full value of the product(s).

1. Common

These are the terms and conditions for Lemmikkiruuat Tessu Oy'’s (afterwards noted as ”Lemmikkiruuat Tessu”) webstore. These terms and conditions are applied between Lemmikkiruuat Tessu and consumer-customer (afterwards noted as ”The Customer”), when The Customer buys products from Lemmikkiruuat Tessu via the website www.koiranruokinta.com.

2. Transacting within the webstore

To shop in the webstore the Customer has to be at least 18 years old and needs to have a working email address and a cellular phone number. Transacting in the webstore and customer services are done in either finnish or english languages. The miminum amount of an order is 15 €€.

Placing an order does not require registration. In any case the Customer needs to fill in the needed information when placing an order. The Customer is responsible for the validity of the information given, and is responsible for relaying any chances in these informations without delay to Lemmikkiruuat Tessu.

Ordering products is done by placing products into the webstore’'s shopping cart. Lemmikkiruuat Tessu confirms an order to the Customer to the email address provided by the Customer by an automated message. The Customer needs to make sure that the order confirmation email shows the same products the Customer has placed an order for.

An order binding the Customer is made, when the Customer places an order in the webstore. The order binds Lemmikkiruuat Tessu when Lemmikkiruuat Tessu has sent a confirmation email of the order to the Customer.

3. Processing of personal information

Lemmikkiruuat Tessu processes the Customer'’s personal information by means allowed and obligated by the current legislation in effect.

4. Prices and product informations

We charge the products by the price in effect at the moment of placing an order. The prices of our products are in effect until further notice or for a time period shown in the product’'s information (e.g. campaign products). The prices of the products do not include expenses for payment methods nor transportation fees, instead these are determined by the payment method and transportation method chosen (see: "”Delivery of products"” and ”"Payment Methods”" below). Costs associated with transportation methods and payment methods are shown in the webstore immediately before placing an order and are charged when paying the order. The prices of the products include VAT.

5. Delivery of products

We deliver our products to the whole area of Finland.

We always strive for the fastest delivery possible. If the product in question is within storage, we aim to deliver the product within 1-7 working days and in any case at the latest within 30 days from placing an order at the latest. Should any delays be noticed, we aim to be in touch with the Customer without delay by using the contact information provided by the Customer. The progress of a delivery can be tracked by following the tracking link within the order confirmation email.

A text message is sent to the Customer when the order is retrievable. Prepare to prove your identity (by driver'’s license, passport, ID card with your picture included).

If the Customer does not retrieve the delivered order from the delivery location before the deadline and does not inform of a cancellation within 14 days measured from the time the Customer has received a message showing the retrievable, the Customer is seen to have cancelled the order. In this case Lemmikkiruuat Tessu has the right to charge the Customer for transportation expenses the transportation of product(s) has accumulated as a compensation, Lemmikkiruuat Tessu has the right to withhold the compensation from the return payment that the Customer is liable to receive from cancelling an order.

6. Payment Methods

The payment methods within the webstore are as follows

  • Internet banking payments: Nordea, Osuuspankki, Sampo Pankki, Säästöpankki/Aktia, Nooa, Handelsbanken, Ålandsbanken, Tapiola and S-pankki.
  • Credit Cards: Visa, Visa Electron, MasterCard and American Express.
  • As an exception Raw & Frozen products are paid by a giro transfer. The delivery is sent when the payment is visible on Lemmikkiruuat Tessu’'s bank account.

7. Verification of a contract

A confirmation of a contract is sent to the Customer along the delivery, which shows the essential information about the order along with a cancellation form and -guide.

8. The right to cancel an order

The Customer has a right to cancel an order they have placed without giving a further reason within 14 days. The cancellation deadline ends within 14 days from the time of receiving the order. The right to cancel an order does not include opened food packages.

In order to use the right to cancel an order the Customer must inform Lemmikkiruuat Tessu of the Customer’'s decision in an unambiguous way (e.g. by a letter, fax or email). The Customer may use cancellation form supplemented along the verification of a contract, yet the use of this form is not mandatory.

The sending of a cancellation notice by the Customer before the cancellation’'s deadline is seen as being enough for the compliance of the cancellation’'s deadline. The Customer needs to return the product(s) in a cancelled order to Lemmikkiruaat Tessu to the address provided further along in this text and within 14 days after making a cancellation. The deadline is seen to be abided if the Customer sends the product(s) before the ending of the 14 days deadline in question. The product(s) can be returned to a Posti office. The Customer can provide the filled cancellation form along with the product(s) being returned. The product(s) are to be returned within their original packagings or otherwise well packaged.

Lemmikkiruuat Tessu is responsible for the immediate expenses for the product(s) being returned.

We return all the paid for expenses to the Customer, including transportation fees without delay and in any case a within 14 days at the latest after receiving the information conserning the cancellation. Lemmikkiruuat Tessu does have a right to withhold from returning the expenses, until Lemmikkiruuat Tessu has received the cancelled order'’s product(s) or until the Customer can provide liable information of returning the product(s). We return the expenses in the same payment method used by the Customer to pay for the product(s), unless the Customer has specifically agreed to the use of another method, and in any case in a way that does not give the Customer any further expenses for the returning of the expenses.

The Customer has a caretaking responsibility of the product(s) the Customer has received. The Customer is held responsible up until to the full price of the product(s) for the deprecation of the value of the product(s) that is a result of other than the needed handling to prove the nature, properties and functionality of the product(s).

9. Checking the product(s)

Upon receiving a delivery the Customer must check the product(s) condition for defects and make sure that the delivery includes all the products ordered.

10. Reclamations and defect liability

The Customer must inform Lemmikkiruuat Tessu’'s customer service (email toni.puustinen@tessu.fi or tel. 013-749 152).without delay and within 14 days at the latest from noticing a possible defectiveness of a product or delivery.

Lemmikkiruuat Tessu is responsible for a defectiveness of a product by the consumer protection legislation in effect. If a product or delivery is proven to defective, Lemmikkiruuat Tessu needs to primarily to correct the error or return the defective product with a faultless product within a reasonable period of time.

11. Delay of a delivery

The Customer has a right to appeal to the Customer'’s rights in the consumer protection legislation in cases where a deliveryis delayed. Although Lemmikkiruuat Tessu is not responsbile for the delay, should the delay be a result in the Customer'’s end, such as that the Customer has not been in the designated delivery place in the designated delivery time or that the Customer can not be reached or that the Customer has provided faulty contact information or has not informed the parties involved of a change in the Customer'’s contact informations.

12. Force majeure

Lemmikkiruuat Tessu is not responsible for breaking a contract, such as a delay or inhibition of a delivery, which is beyond the possibilities of influencing by Lemmikkiruuat Tessu (force majeure).

14. Applicable law and dispute settlements

These contract provisions are applied with the Finnish law, excluding it'’s choices of law provision.

Disputing parties strive to settle disputes primarily by negotiations. Should a situation arise where the parties can not settle a dispute by negotiations, the dispute is settled in Finland, in Helsinki'’s district court. The Customer also has the opportunity to take the dispute to the Customer'’s home town'’s district court or consumer disputes board.
